Falling in love.   Laughing so hard your stomach hurts.   A hot shower.      A special glance.     Getting mail that is not junk or bills.   Taking a drive on a pretty road.     Hearing your favorite song on the radio.   Lying in bed listening to the rain outside.   Hot towels out of the dryer.   Finding the sweater you want is on sale for half price.   A chocolate milkshake .   A long distance phone call.   A bubble bath.   Giggling.   A good conversation.   The beach.   Finding a $20 bill in your coat from last winter.     Laughing at yourself.   Midnight phone calls that last for hours.     Running through sprinklers.   Laughing for absolutely no reason at all.     Having someone tell you that you're beautiful.     Laughing  at  an inside joke.     Friends.   Falling in love for the first time.     Accidentally overhearing someone say something nice about you.     Waking up and realizing you still have a few hours left to sleep.   Your first kiss.     Making new friends or spending time with old ones.     Playing with a new puppy.     Late night talks with your roommate that keep you  from sleeping.   Doing something you really love and having someone  whom you respect tell you that you did a good job.     Having someone play with your hair.     Sweet dreams.     Hot chocolate.   Road trips with friends.   Swinging on swings.     Watching a good movie cuddled up on a couch  with someone you love.   Wrapping presents under the Christmas tree while eating  cookies and drinking eggnog.     Song lyrics printed inside your new CD so you can sing along.   Going to a really good concert.     Getting butterflies in your stomach every time you  see that one special person.     Winning a really competitive game.   Making chocolate chip cookies- and eating the cookie dough    before you bake them   Having your friends send you homemade cookies.   Spending time with close friends.   Clean, fresh sheets.   Waking up late and thinking you overslept -then realizing   that it is your day off.     Holding hands with someone you care about.     Running into an old friend and realizing that    some things never change.     Discovering that love is unconditional and stronger than time.     Riding the best roller coasters over and over.     Hugging and being hugged by the person you love.     Watching the face of someone you care about   when they open a much desired present from you.   A baby's first real smiles.   Seeing a baby's joy at taking its first steps.      A baby's belly-laugh.   Hearing a  child say "I Love You" when you didn't    say it first.   Watching children performing a dance or a play   that they made up.    Answering the phone and finding that it is your    grandchild calling to tell you all about the    new shoes they got.      Watching the sunrise.        Watching the sunset.      Feeling well again after you have been sick.   Eating your favorite ice cream right out of the carton,  with a really big spoon... in bed.   -Submitted by Amy Being busy at work during the day and suddenly remembering that your family's dinner will be ready when you arrive home- because you put it in the crockpot that morning! -Submitted by Amy    Knowing that joy can't be stolen from me.  It doesn't depend on happenings   as happiness does,  but is in where I choose to dwell. ~Submitted by Carol Whatever flower you happen to be looking at... -Submitted by Nancy Garrett   Joy? I take joy in knowing there are  still truly honest, moral, descent people in the world and that I have had the chance to  meet some of those people thanks to Clay [Aiken}sharing himself and his love  of music with the world.
